171100 410 Series Stainless Steel StitchMates® - Hex Slotted Head
Stainless StitchMates™ feature a needle point allowing them to self drill through and/or lap stitch thin sheet metal up to 1.2mm thick i.e. 2 pieces of 0.6mm steel. The Hex Washer head provides a heavy duty, stable driving fixing with a wide surface clamping area and features a slotted head for easy removal for maintenance or other purposes. Made from hardened 410SS which allows them to self pierce through steel combined with good corrosion resistance.
• Featuring a Hex Slotted head which provides the added benefit of being able to be power driven and then removed and re-installed by hand using a bladed screwdriver. This makes it an excellent choice for use where sheet metal panels or covers need to be removed for maintenance purposes

1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is approximately 800~1,000 r.p.m.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
