171200 Stainless Steel LapMates™ For High Expansion/Contraction Applications
LapMates™ are specifically designed for lap stitching long life roofing and cladding profiles which are subject to high expansion and contraction. This product is an assembly consisting of an M5 x 25 EPDM Rubber nut with 316SS threaded insert, a 316SS 19mm Bonded Washer and a 316SS M5 x 30mm Pan Metal Thread screw. LapMates™ are ideal for use in highly corrosive environments.

1/ Pre- drill a 10mm clearance hole through the materials being fastened together.
2/ Insert the LapMates™through the hole and tighten with a power tool or hand screwdriver until firm hold is achieved.
