160000 PolyMates® - Multi Purpose, Hex & Polycarb Washer
PolyMates™ unique, Patented Wing design allows for a single operation installation with the screw self drilling through the crest of the profile and into the batten/purlin whilst simultaneously drilling a clearance hole. This meets the Profile manufacturers specification to drill a clearance hole through the profile crest to allow the roof sheet to expand and contract and allows for a single tool to be used to instal the fastener. Without this hole the sheet will split and water leaks occur.

1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is approximately 800~1,000 r.p.m. when fixing into timber and 1,800~2,000 r.p.m when fixing into light steel battens.
