150010 TimberMates® - Hex Head
Featuring a Type 17 self-drilling point designed for self-drilling into timber or thin metal up to 0.55mm. The Hex Washer head provides a heavy duty, stable driving fixing with a wide surface clamping area. Available with sealing washer options for roofing, cladding and applications where a water proof seal is required. Popular sizes are stocked painted to match prepainted metal roofing, cladding & fencing profile colours. All other sizes and colour combinations can be painted upon request.

1/ Ensure the correct driver tool is fitted to your power drill or screw driver.
2/ Place the screw on the driver tool and position it onto the materials being fastened.
3/ If necessary push sharply to create a centre mark and to prevent screw wander.
4/ Squeeze trigger and maintain steady, constant pressure until the screw has drilled and fastened.
Recommended Driving speed is approximately 800~1,000 r.p.m. when fixing into timber and 1,800~2,000 r.p.m when fixing into light steel battens.
